Trying Out for the Millers Program
MILLER PROCESS
3-STEP PROCESS
- Step 1 = make call-backs
- Step 2 = make Millers program
- Step 3 = continue to develop*
*Work on areas for make-ups or for 1st week or two of practice to see who has put the work in and who hasn’t to help teams be as competitive as possible
**You make the Millers PROGRAM vs. TEAM as we have a plan for each player in our program to get to their highest level. Our focus and goal as coaches is to get every player that graduates our program playing and starting in college and we have proven that year after year – if you do the work, you will have the opportunity to play at the next level
***We’ve seen players make huge jumps (7-10+ mph) with hard work in Training to make themselves and their teams better and those who didn’t once they “made it.” Making the Millers program is just a step in the process of getting them to their highest level. Millers are expected to put the work in not just for themselves but for each other. The more successful the team is, the more opportunities for the player.
Phase 1 | Phase 2 | Phase 3 | Phase 4 |
---|---|---|---|
ROUTINE PLAYS | SPEED OF THE GAME | LOW % PLAYS | PLAY VS. THE GAME |
PILLARS OF THE MILLERS PROGRAM
- Players and Teams each go through these phases during a season and career with Millers
- Develop and Train hard to make playing fun
- Each player holds the other accountable to do their work/part
- Designed for Players to Develop, Open Doors and Compete Locally, Regionally and Nationally
- Players will learn and play multiple positions for individual advancement and to help the team win
- The more successful the team is, the more opportunities for the player = play for each other, play vs. the game
The Millers programs have produced over 400 of the most sought-after NCAA and MLB prospects over the past 15+ years.

ACCOUNTABLE TO EACH OTHER
Millers hold each other accountable during a season to put the work in to help each other and the team be as successful as possible. The Winter is no exception. After adequate rest, it is time to prepare for the next season.
When the season comes, Millers expect their teammates to have put the work in to have another great season. They look forward to off-season training as they know that is where the gains are in both metrics and skills and pushing each other for the same goals is seen every day in the blood, sweat and tears in pursuing a common goal together.
3 WINTER OPTIONS
Full Program = Off-Season Winter Training
- Largest Gains
- Customized Ramp-Up
- Full Access

Skill Program: Small Group Lessons (20 pack) = 1-2x/week skill work
