MILLER PROGRESSION
Players progress through each stage and from stage to stage as Millers
ROOKIE MILLERS 9U-11U
GAMES -> SKILLS -> DEVELOP
FOCUS: PHASE 1 & 2
These are the development stages. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game and how to adjust and compete after tough competition challenges them physically and mentally to develop their game. If they are not challenged, we will find teams that will and repeat the process.

ROOKIE PROCESS
GAMES = test IQ & making routine plays
SKILLS = teach proper mechanics to put themselves in good positions to do routine consistently
DEVELOP = practice with intensity and speed to push the tempo and add pressure so games become fun and easier than practice
YOUTH MILLERS 12U-14U
TRAIN -> DEVELOP -> COMPETE
FOCUS: GET TO PHASE 3 & 4
These are the adjustment levels as players grow the most and the field changes on them so making routine and handling the speed fluctuates at times. Summer of 13U into Fall of 14U is the toughest transition at all ages. Millers starts 13U on big field in July to get them used to the change as fast as possible.

YOUTH PROCESS
TRAIN = Millers add the Training program to gain speed/strength, power and velocity through more efficient movements
DEVELOP = baseball IQ on different field sizes with speed/pressure are a constant; skill work & attention to detail are a must
COMPETE = players will go from playing more locally to regionally and start testing their abilities on a national level by the end of this development stage
HS MILLERS 15U-18U
DEVELOP -> COMPETE -> EXPOSURE
FOCUS: PHASE 4 & COLLEGE FIT
Players who graduate from the Millers program will have opportunities to play at the collegiate level. Players that put the work in here and trust the process knock down the most doors for themselves for the next level.

HS PROCESS
DEVELOP = speed and testing baseball IQ and fundamentals is a part of every practice. Players TRAIN in facilities to gain speed/strength to apply to the field so bringing your best every day is the standard here.
COMPETE = level testing happens through these years. Once players get to Phase 4, the opponent doesn’t matter as much as the level of execution we are playing against. We want to test abilities then get back to work and test them again and again.
EXPOSURE = teaching, testing and playing the game at the highest level of execution provides players perspective on where they are and what the next step is to find the best college fit for them. Recruiting process education and ADVISING is included with Millers in these stages. PBR showcases to increase metrics and rankings are also included.
